In a unexpected collaboration that defies usual forecasts, the game developer has revealed an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Disclosed
According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of banned practices and terrifying changes echo through the obscurity." The narrative introduces a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret cult.
The adventure concentrates on "peculiar trials and a monstrous foe" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Metamorphoses
The teaser features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
